Examples of our integrated approach

  • Viewing the flexpool not as a separate working component, but by looking at this as whole together with the entire supply chain, we can realise new collaborations. This reduces the flexible hours, increases the productivity of permanent employees and generates higher quality and an improvement of critical KPIs.
  • Processes are often sequential. One process must be completed before the next process can commence. However what frequently happens in practice is that one group is not ready in time, so subsequently the next group cannot begin. A clear example of this can be seen in the cleaning process. Because the end time of the production is flexible, there is often a cleaning crew waiting until the production line has been ’cleared’. Result: many wasted hours and unnecessary expenditure. By studying how the production team and cleaning crew can complement each other, duplication of costs is prevented and idle hours are reduced.
